Way of working
The Industrial Packaging of the Seerden Houtgroup B.V. has a profound way of working which starts with the collection of requirements of the customer. On request and in consultation with the customer this information for the design of the industrial packaging will be documented in a program of specifications.
Based on the specifications the product is analyzed on vulnerability and the way it will be transported. After that, the design phase begins and the actual industrial packaging will be documented in a technical product document.
Next, the engineering phase of the industrial packaging starts. A detailed selection of shockproof materials is made. If necessary, a lifting mechanism can be added to simplify the dismantling of the product out of the industrial packaging.
The result of the engineering phase is a prototype, which can be tested. If the results of the impact and fall tests and the logistic simulation are satisfactory, the mass production of the industrial packaging can begin. This is the roadmap to mass production of custom packaging solutions.
